Holmes POV, in despair

  Hi all,

I"m searching for a fic I read, Granada or ACD verse, in which Holmes is despairing at having failed to prevent the death of a client, and slides into a drug haze for three days. Watson nearly leaves him, but doesn't, and there's truly hot sex over the settee with bottom!Holmes. It's extremely emotional, and beautiful. I don't think it's by katieforsythe , as I've scoured everything of hers that I can find, but it's a similar voice. It's Holmes POV, by the way.

It is Katie's Hallowed Be, I don't remember any other fic with that premise.

Oh my god. I just realized that I'm conflating "Hallowed Be" and "Birds To A Lighthouse"!
