Retiring from London

Are there any stories - Sherlock, the movies, book canon, anything - where Watson gets sick and he and Holmes have to retire from London for a while, move to the country or closer to the sea for some quiet and fresh air? In the books, it's Holmes who tends to get all overwrought and sick. I would like to see the tables turned...

I immediately thought of this one which has BBC!Sherlock retiring to the countryside with John because of an angina attack though I must warn you it contains and is set around character deaths (from old age)
