Three Canon fics

I believe they're canon fics, anyway, and they may in fact be written by the same person, I'm not sure. Well, here's the details:

1) The first is a retelling of the Solitary Cyclist. It starts with what I think is newly-established relationship between Holmes and Watson, though Holmes is acting oddly and Watson is feeling insecure and angry. The gist of what I recall is, at the climactic scene when the priest (or Woodley, I don't recall) aims a gun at Holmes and Watson, himself armed, steps in front of Holmes to cover him. When they get back to Baker Street Holmes is livid that Watson would have put himself in harms way like that, but I think Watson misinterprets his anger as yet more frustration from when Watson bungled his clue-hunting spree earlier. Anyway, there are declarations of feelings and such, and then possibly sex. I don't really remember. Vague story is vague.

2). The second is a retelling of the Golden Pince-Nez (hence my supposition that they're the same author). While Holmes and Watson attempt to engage in sexytimes on a rainy awful night, young Hopkins pops up with the Golden Pince-Nez case. Holmes takes it on, and due to the early train the three of them will be catching to crime scene, has Hopkins stay over. Watson offers the man his room, and then he and Holmes continue sexytimes in Holmes' room, trying to be quiet so they don't alert the Inspector sleeping just a floor above them. At one point, there is jealous!Watson, because Holmes is ever-so charming with one of the maids he's questioning, which, as many things do, leads to sex up against a tool shed. And that's about it.

3).  I would love to be pointed in the direction of that fic in which Holmes and Watson start a sexual relationship, but Holmes still sleeps with people on the side (like dignitaries, and shit like that), and when one of them propositions Watson to join them, Holmes is like, "Lol, he couldn't keep up," and Watson's all D': I think at one point an old army friend of Watson's, who's invited Holmes to his manor to help solve a mystery (or something, I think it was based on one of the stories, but I'm drawing a blank on which one), and then the friend puts the moves on Watson and asks him to stay with him at the manor. Watson eventually says no, and Holmes eventually says he loves Watson, and eventually they have sex outside, in the rain, on the front lawn of the manor. It is a happy ending.

Thanks so much for your help! I appreciate it forever!

Gods, I know I've read the first one, and recently, but I turned over my whole bookmark collection, and nothing! It drives me crazy. Please let me know if you find it.

Um, please excuse the awkward self-promotion, but I was just skimming through the comm and noticed this. The first fic sounds awfully like one of mine - 'On Beauty' - that was a re-telling of The Adventure of the Solitary Cyclist. I've recently had to remove it from my journal, since it's been published as part of a collection but... yeah. That might be why you're not able to track it down.

*End of self-pimping, slinks away*

I was absolutely sure it's yours, but after looking at your master fic page for about 5 times and not seeing it I thought my generally almost perfect memory finally deceived me. Glad to know I'm not getting senile. :)

No, definitely not going senile! And glad it was helpful. I wasn't sure if such a comment ('Yes, this is it but it's not up there to read any more') would be more frustrating than helpful, but I thought it was worth mentioning purely because I know that feeling of having read something but not being able to track it down, and personally it bugs the hell out of me! :)
