I am seraching for this fic as it was referenced while reading another fic called Love is Watching Someone Die.... the person said the fic I just named is sadder than The Faults in Our Stars and Alone on the Water combined! So does anyone know where to find it?

By The Fault in Our Stars they probably meant the book by John Green. It's an amazingly good book - I highly recommend it.
