protective!Holmes and hurt!irregulars??

Are there any stories about the the Irregulars and their relationships with Holmes and/or Watson?
I'm particularly looking for protective!Holmes and/or protective!Watson. Maybe one of the irregulars gets hurt, or threatened or abused. I want Holmes and Watson out for blood... and looking after their little urchins.
