Best of the Holmes Stories
Hi,not sure if this is allowed. If not, I'm sorry, my first post here.
Anyways, I've been reading a lot of Holmes/Watson fanfics lately, but have also started to read the original stories as well. I was wondering which of Conan Doyle's stories are the best or your favorites. Particularly with Holmes and Watson bromance, like The Adventure of the Three Garridebs. Please and Thank you! Much Love to everyone who helps. <3

I also like The Dying Detective because it shows how much regard Watson has for Holmes.
Also I have read the first chapter of A Study in Scarlet like a million times. The pages are falling out of my copy.
And The Devil's Foot, come to think, because Watson is concerned about Holmes.

But I have to say, if I were to pick a favourite, it would have to be Charles Augustus Milverton, for Milverton himself (slimy creep that he is, he's a good villain), for Holmes' reaction to him, for Watson's reaction to him, for the the moments between Holmes and Watson, for the masks and the awesome chick near the end... for all of it, really, all of it.

The speckled band and The hound of the Baskervilles in my opinion <3 Holmes is worried about Watson and, in the second story, Watson really misses his Holmes.

You also might want to check out A Case of Identity, The Musgrave Ritual, Priory School & Silver Blaze. The last two are must reads (IMHO) for their hearty doses of H/W and the deductions :)
