Searching for a Watson leaving fic

Hello!

I'm looking for a story I read a very long time ago and I have recently remembered it. Unfortunately, I don't have a name, author, or even a summary. So this is what I remember, it's a canon fic where Holmes and Watson have an arguement of some kind that ends with Watson leaving.  Watson wanting to get over his friendship/pre-slash relationship with Holmes starts seeing this guy or guys(?). I don't remember if it was an old friend or if it was some stranger that he met somewhere.  Anyway, Watson and him kind of click together and want to go out on outings, however, disaster always strickes before the two could meet. What Watson doesn't know is that Holmes is pretty much stalking him and ruining this thing between Watson and this guy. Finally, Holmes confronts Watson and I believe there is a happy ending.

Watson moves out because Holmes has invaded his privacy and read his private journals. Holmes sabotages his search for new rooms and keeps an old friend called Strakes from meeting Watson by dousing him in horse muck, stealing his hat etc. in various disguises. It's book!verse or granada!verse, Victorian London in any case. It's slash and NC-17.

I actually have a favourite 'Watson leaving' fic, but I don't have my recs on this computer. It's set in the Milverton case, and there's a big misunderstanding between the boys. If you haven't read it, I can fetch you a link.

Watson leaving fics are wonderful because of how sookie Holmes gets... ;)
