Hi all, I'm looking for two fics.
The first is Sherlock BBC verse; Sherlock/John first time. My friend and I were discussing various fics and we both remembered one where Sherlock tries to let John know that he's interested and available, doing things like bringing a man home and kissing him in front of John (who makes a polite withdrawal). When things finally come to a head Sherlock is honestly shocked that John didn't get his "obvious" signs.
The second is much older (I think at least five years old) and is book/Granada verse. I'm almost certain it's Holmes/Watson established relationship, but as far as I can recall it's pretty irrelevant whether they're in a romantic relationship or not; the story is about trust. Basically, Watson is rather prejudiced towards the Irregulars to begin with, until Holmes eventually admits that he was such a child. He and Mycroft are not biological brothers; they were both street children who were taken under the wing of some rich, educated gentleman, which is why Holmes looks out for the street kids, especially the bright ones like Wiggins. The story was as much about the growing trust between Holmes and Watson that allowed Holmes to open up about his childhood as it was Holmes' backstory.
Thank you in advance to any and everyone who has a little think ^_^
