The story I'm looking for is a university au. Greg and John had just met while moving into their new residence. Sherlock and Mycroft came a few mins later. The boys get pretty close to the point that Sherlock has no problem sleeping with either. I remember a scene where they go on holiday and have to share a king size bed together. And that's all I'm going to say about that. Don't want to give away too many spoilers! Lol its a great story. Please help. Thank you!

I think it's on AO3. It's a gen/friendship story. Lestrade and company are doing a drugs search of the flat, that leads to a revelation about John. He's a vampire but not one who drinks blood (don't want to reveal what he needs to survive for spoiler reasons). Does this ring any bells?

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to find a funny story I read a while back. It is set in the SHerlock BBC verse. In it Sherlock appraches John for advice on how to write a loveletter, not telling John who he is writing to. John of course is jealous but helps out as much as he can since Sherlock won't give him any additional information. Eventuall the letter turns out to be for John. I think I read it on FanFiction.

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

Ages ago, I read a really funny casefic on ff.net (I think) that followed Moriarty and Moran's side of a murder and the resulting investigation. I don't remember much, other than Moriarty killing a man with a weighted yo-yo and a description of the well-attended yet less-than-mournful funeral (the only person who would generally miss the deceased was an elderly relative who still mistakenly thought him a good person). I think I also remember Moriarty making sarcastic comments about the applied sciences being less interesting than pure mathematics.

Hi,

it's me again, it's just that I suddenly remember this fic and it's stuck!
It was quite hilarious, Lestrade comes to John and Sherlock's because he found a dvd during a bust and it's some amateur porn featuring characters based on Sherlock and John. They end up watching it together to find out who filmed it or something like that? I can't remember if it was slash, pre-slash or just gen.
Please, help!

Hey guys,

I'm very sorry but this is a very, very vague request, and I'm not expecting anything but it'd be a miracle if something did appear.

There was a fic in which John was listening to / watching a news reporter lament the lack of grit in London. It's a fairly recent fic, and all I remember is I wanted to book mark it and then Chrome, and my laptop, crashed, and I lost everything that had been open. It's not in my history, and it's eating my brain. I was half way through it, just at the bit about a lack of grit (a la, "THERE'S NO MORE GRIT, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE").

If it rings a bell, please lemme know?

Hi, I'm looking for a BBC fic. I think it was 5 plus 1 format, though I'm not sure. The only part I really remember was that John and Sherlock were in a bar with some of John's friends and they kept bringing up how John had been a real ladies man,and during one weekend spent it with triplets. And during this he could see Sherlock was getting more and more put off and he knew he wasn't going to get any anytime soon. It may have been something along the lines of 5 times John and Sherlock don't have sex, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello, everybody. I was wondering if anyone knew of a fic where Sherlock and John were involved in fandom? It's been at least a year since I read it, and unfortunately all I really remember about it is that Anderson is a troll of some kind, John and Sherlock are very flirty, and a lot of the fic (if not all) is done in screenshots on the characters having conversations via LJ comments. I also believe that it's either '09!verse or BBC. Ring any bells at all?

I am new to the Sherlock Holmes fandom so I am a little overwhelmed- what are the best stories out there to introduce me to SH fanfiction?

I'd love to read some stories about Sherlock and Watson's relationship- but I want friendship fics.

Also, while watching the movie, I thought Holmes' and Mycroft's (sp?) relationship was so intriguing... they both seem so deliciously messed up and so I was wondering if there are any stories that delve into their childhood?

I only want gen stories so please no slash :)

Edit: So apparently I need to specify 'verse here- I'm looking for fanfiction based on the recent movies with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law :)

I'm going to be going on an 11 hour flight soonish, so I'm on the look out for some nice long fics to put on my kindle for the flight.
I've got Indecorous already, and Infiltrate, and The Progress Of Sherlock Holmes (turns out I'm willing to read first-person narrative when it's the Sherlock fandom). But I need so many more.

Specifically, Sherlock/John, or Sherlock/John/Lestrade poly fics, or Sherlock/John and Lestrade in bromance with them fics. If they're nice and involving, with adventures/crimes/mysteries going on as well as the relationships, all the better. Domestic!fics are good also. AUs are ok (so long as the AU isn't.. too odd - like, I'm not into creature!fic in the slightest, but a fantasy type setting otherwise isn't outside my bounds) though obviously I prefer BBC!canon.

Also, I'm asexual, and have been long searching out all the asexual!Sherlock fics I can find (I have a nice long-ish list now, few of them are long!fic though) and I'm always happy for more, so if you know any nice long ace!Sherlock fics? Yes please.

Basically, I want them long, involving, full of puzzles and relationships - things I can just get totally lost in, to block out the fact that I'm on an aeroplane for 11 hours straight.

Things I dislike: torture!porn (I did read that infamous fic, but I shan't be reading it again - well written or not, it was too much for my triggers to take...) character!death of Sherlock, John, Lestrade or Mycroft. Otherwise, I'm pretty open (and yes, I very happily read NC-17 fic, in fact, I tend to prefer NC-17.)

Hello, I'm searching for a Mystrade fic. I remember that Mycroft kidnap Lestrade to ~~intimidate~~ ~~him~~ have a friendly chat, but he takes him to a place that have lots of boxes of sex toys, didlos, I think, and Lestrade is "oh, someone said it's very good, can I have one? And Mycroft ends all red and confused. It was quite funny and instructive, because there was a part about the handkerchief color, and is some code? or something.

I'm looking for a fic that I started reading, and am beginning to think I imagined. It's J/S, but with a light side order of John/NotTooEvil!Jim. What I remember is John coming home to find Moriarty sitting at the table with Sherlock - seems they're both bored, but since John frowns upon the taking of human lives hither and yon, they're trying to find another challenge. What they come up with is a competation for John- who can bed him first.

What sticks in my head is one lovely, lovely scene with John bending over a corpse, inducting the crime, calling Anderson a moron, and defending Sherlock in one glorious, snarky, breath. This, unsurprisingly, turns Sherlock on beyond reason.

First-time poster, so be gentle with me...
I need help finding a fic -it was multi-part, wip, on lj, sherlock/john UST with one or two kisses. John meets mummy Holmes and she gives him new garderobe, then they all go to the opera. She calls Anthea Amanda and in the last part she also got Lestrade- he had gold cufflinks with letter "H".
I read it just last week, but my mind is like a swiss cheese;)

I would love some help finding two fics I remember reading some time ago.

1. Holmes accidentally makes himself invisible. I don't remember much else, other than it was a medium length story, and funny but also a bit poignant. It is either 09 film or book canon, but I am sorry I don't remember which.

2. A body swap occurs in which Holmes, Watson and Gladstone switch places.

I was wondering if there are any fics out there in which Holmes and Watson are in a romantic relationship and one of these things happen:

1)Mary walks in on Holmes and Watson having sex. Humor, angst, and smut are all acceptable.

2)Watson decides to get married to offset suspicion.

3)They only realize their romantic feelings for each other after Watson is married.

4) Mary knows from the start when she and Watson begin courting that his heart really belongs to Holmes, but she goes along with it anyway.

5) Mary knows that Holmes and Watson have feelings for each other and are fighting it for whatever reason, so she schemes to get them into bed together, hopefully with her watching or in there with them.

6)Mary is a BA sidekick of a sort; I would like her to fight and shoot many baddies and come out on top.

Essentially, anything featuring some sort of Holmes/Watson/Mary dynamic would be great. Gen, pre-slash, slash, and het are all acceptable, though I'd prefer PWP recs to refer to #'s 1 and 5 only.
