Mistrustful/Wary John

So I just reread the fabulous story: Control by yminga and now I'm craving stories like it. Where John doesn't completely trust everyone as much as it seems, is wary of people, doesn't let people touch him... etc.. but he does trust Sherlock. It doesn't need to be anything dramatic just along the lines of the story Control.

I'm looking for fics involving John's past as a soldier, not necessarily him on the battlefield but fics that remember that John's an ex-serviceman, if it comes up in a case, Poppy Day or something as simple as John using a war veterans Oyster card.

Secondly I'm looking for fics in which Sherlock reacts to John being hurt or injured in a case.

I don't mind about verse or gen/slash fics.

Hi! I recently finished reading A Week is Just Seven Days Isn't It? by scifigrl47, which featured an adorably overprotective Sherlock who just doesn't know what to do with himself with John being gone for a week.

I was wondering if anyone can rec me fanfics that also feature an (over)protective-of-John!Sherlock? Preferably from the BBC-verse.
