Hi, I'm looking for:
1. Fics where John and Co. realize that what Sherlock did was not completely selfish but self-sacrificing and that he had good reasons for what he did.
2. Fics where Sherlock comes back "to life" injured, worn to the bone or scarred either mentally or physically and John finally realizes that it wasn't just a walk in the park for Sherlock to be gone.
3. Fics where there is anger toward Mycroft or guilt on Mycroft's part for sacrificing his own brother "for the greater good" as I feel he did. He basically served his own baby brother up on a silver platter to Moriarity.
I seriously don't think the writing team on Sherlock is going to make his return as cold and heartless and ACD's canon. After all, they made his departure emotional, which was a total departure from ACD. I think Sherlock is suffering, in his own way, as much as John but everyone seems to be completely focused on poor John, who at least has a support system in place, while Sherlock is out there alone. Yes, Sherlock can be a jerk but he's OUR jerk, right?
