holmes_finderslooking for two fics
1) John was a would-be murder victim when he was kidnapped and almost killed by a serial killer when he was in his early teens. He was drugged and was about to be hanged and he somehow escaped. The killer begins to kill again after stopping for 20 years, looking for boys that looked like John when he was in his early teens. Sherlock is put on the case and there's tension between them as John becomes part of Sherlock's evidence. Sherlock is intentionally insensitive about how traumatic it is for John to recall the details of his kidnapping because it upsets him to think how easy it was that they had never met because of this kidnapping years ago. There was also a bit where John was put off by onions after he was kidnapped because he was drugged by something that only doctors had access to. I read this a month ago and i can't figure who out who wrote this. please help.
2) Sherlock gets hurt while chasing someone and I think he's bleeding of something. Instead of returning to 221B or go to the hospital, he goes to one of his numerous hideouts, an ugly basement apartment where he taped a kit of painkillers and first aid stuff and he tries to treat himself. he fails badly and ends up on the couch, hallucinating about a terrible british talk show host that's taunting him about his pride and failure to get proper help. John gets worried and contacts mycroft and they narrow down which basement Sherlock is in and he finds him and sends him to a hospital I think. I think this story was only posted on livejournal. it was a medium-length one-shot.
