Sherlock Holmes tour in London

Hey guys!

This summer I'm going to visit London for the first time ever, and I'd love to visit some places/locations connected with Sherlock Holmes.

Obviously I knows about Baker Street and the Sherlock Holmes Museums and, IDK perhaps the London Eye, but what about some less known location where have been filmed the 2009 movie or the BBC series, or the Granada one or other versions of the story? Or maybe even places quoted and appeared in the canon itself?

Do you know any cool place to visit or can provide any link with some info?

A boat tour of the Thames will give you some idea of what the area looked like, and you get a lot of history. Just walking over London and Tower Bridge will give you a sense of very Holmsian feelings.

Most of the 2009 movie was actually not filmed in London but NYC/studio :(

If you want to safe money, at both the SH museum and the pub you can buy a little booklet called "In the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes", that leads the way through London.
