Long Victorian fic.

Hello all!
What I remember is that Holmes became ill while he and Watson was on the continent. Mycroft came, and they traveled back to London. Probably a first-time, maybe even pre-slash, it was long and rather dramatic. Since it's not my usual fare I didn't bookmark this fic :( and now I can't find it for a friend who would love it.
Help?

I don't know if this is what you're thinking of, but "long and rather dramatic" puts me in mind of Fragility (http://archiveofourown.org/works/92878?view_full_work=true) and its sequel Finality (http://archiveofourown.org/works/98251/chapters/134600), especially the latter--43 chapters of melodramatic guilty pleasure.
