Watson adopts Sherlock and Mycroft

Once upon a time, I had bookmarked on Delicious two fics. And then Delicious stuck its head up its own arse and now those bookmarks are lost to me. I'm fairly certain the fics in question were book!verse, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, Dr Watson lives alone in 221b and occasionally makes it his job to treat pro-bono some members of the community, and as a result has earned himself quite a bit of trust from the local homeless population. One day, he's called out to the aid of two children, one of whom has been shot. They turn out to be Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes, who had run away for this reason or that; I can't remember. After treating Sherlock, Watson realises that he's grown rather attached to the boys and takes them in as his own.

I remember that I read this on FFN. And that there were two of them. And there might have been something about a bear in the title. Maybe?
