Sick Holmes

I'm looking for a specific fic I've lost track of. It was on ff.net, but now I can't find it. It was set in the book/Granada universe.
Anyway, it was a story where Holmes had some sort of stomach upset, and Watson had to give him a series of enemas to help him. It was totally non-sexual, friendship, with Watson helping him and comforting him. It was wonderfully written, really capturing the kind of embarrassment and awkwardness you'd imagine they would feel in such a situation. I know this is a bit of an odd story request, but does it sound familiar? Cheers, Tes

There was a story like that featured on that website that makes fun of fanfiction, they really ripped into it. The author was quite rightly upset and removed her story from the internet. A friend pointed it out to me when we were talking about rare kinks and I thought it a shame she'd been harrassed like that. Was it one where Sherlock was given a lye enema that made him scream while unconcious? If so, that story is now long gone.

What assholes. They have no right to degrade a writer like that. This sort of thing shatters confidence and is deeply hurtful.

I wish I could somehow comfort the author. :(

That is the story. What I horrible thing to happen. Reading the despicable article under the link almost made me sick. My sincere condolences to the author. That story was a truly great piece of writing. I hope she reposts one day.

Unfortunately, things like this, or fandom wank where fans attack other fans, are just part of net life. If we could wipe them out, we would, but that would make us just as bad :/

wow, that's 160 comments of mockery and bile. If I were her, I'd pack up my fic and leave the internet too. I'm surprised no one defended her. I feel for her.
