Soulmates fic search

I'm looking for any fics where John and Sherlock are soulmates/bonded/sentinel and guide-something where they were meant to be together, in some tangible sense. I'd especially love any fics where Sherlock doesn't want the bond, says he's fine on his own, but really John is saving him(metaphorically or not). I'm picturing the bbc John and Sherlock, but 09 movie verse is great too.

Also, any fics where Sherlock has some form of chronic illnessI(I've read one where he had diabetes and one where he had IBS), and John helps him, is totally awesome and doctorly, would be wonderful!

I love those two fics. Here are some that are a bit similar.

The Ties that Bleed (http://luchia13.livejournal.com/279034.html). Sherlock is a blood-lord, John is his mate. Soul-bonding. You'll like if if you can deal with the blood. Any more info could spoil it. Not sure if I need to warn for Post-Reichenbach or not. If you don't know what happens at Reichenbach, don't read till you see the episode/read the story. This will spoil.

Man and Beast (http://jupiter-ash.livejournal.com/5979.html). AU. Sherlock is a werewolf who has been captured by mean scientists for the purpose of experimentation. They give John to him as a playmate, full expecting that John won't survive the night. They could not have predicted what actually happened. Soul-bonding.

Blue Veins (http://oh-god-yes.livejournal.com/6843.html). What if you could have a timer to count down the exact moment of your life you would meet your soulmate? Would you want to know? This isn't exactly what you're after, but you might like it.

If You Can't Stand the Heat.... (http://sherlockbbc-fic.livejournal.com/11848.html?thread=61066056#t61066056). Omega!verse AU. John is an omega. He can get pregnant by an Alpha Male. Sherlock's an Alpha. Fortunately, neither one of them have ever wanted anything to do with bonding. WIP, but it's great. Mind the warnings. It's not everyone's cup of tea.

All That I Have (http://2ndstory.livejournal.com/12113.html). This is not soul-bonding, but I went out on a limb here, and went with the way that some of the bonding fics feel. This one has some of those same feelings. Post-pool at the end of The Great Game. Sherlock panics if John is out of his sight.


Sick Sherlock

The Heart in the Whole (http://verityburns.livejournal.com/5447.html). Sherlock is blinded after the explosion at the pool and John takes care of him. It's a pretty long fic, and proof that sometimes, love comes very lightly into life.

Alone on the Water (http://archiveofourown.org/works/210785). Sherlock is terminally ill. John takes care of him. This broke me. It is beautiful beyond the telling of it. I have had it bookmarked for a month or two, but I've only ever read it once because it broke my heart so hard. Warnings for death fic. You will sobbing before it ends, but if you want John taking care of his lover, this is your fic.
