Introduction to SH Fanfiction

I am new to the Sherlock Holmes fandom so I am a little overwhelmed- what are the best stories out there to introduce me to SH fanfiction?

I'd love to read some stories about Sherlock and Watson's relationship- but I want friendship fics.

Also, while watching the movie, I thought Holmes' and Mycroft's (sp?) relationship was so intriguing... they both seem so deliciously messed up and so I was wondering if there are any stories that delve into their childhood?

I only want gen stories so please no slash :)

Edit: So apparently I need to specify 'verse here- I'm looking for fanfiction based on the recent movies with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law :)

Wordybirdy of fanfiction.net http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2692476/wordybirdy has some wonderful friendship fics. There are some slash fics but most of it was friendship.

KCS also is well known in the Sherlock Holmes fan fic community. She is dedicated towards canon accuracy and so there is no slash in there at all. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1464384/KCS
