holmes_findersSince I'm posting here so much I decided to wait until I had multiple stories to find.
1) FOUND! Part of the Refining Fire 'verse by![[info]](https://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=88.4)
arwen_kenobi. Specifically the story is Hide and Seek.
BBC!verse, Sherlock/John; Instead of Sherlock being gone for 3 years after Reichenbach it's John. I believe John thinks Sherlock knows he's alive. I also think they might have been in a relationship before hand. The final minion of Moriarty John takes down is Moran in a warehouse (in America?). This is a different fic from the one where John unknowingly was working for Moran.

BBC!verse, Sherlock/John; Similar to The Great Game in that there are many puzzles to be solved.One had Sherlock jumping from platform to platform. Each with a letter on it to spell a sentence. There were decoy platforms too. (A completely different story: The Burning Game). Later people we being targeted by their initials to spell another sentence. John was one of the targets. For most of this John was in the hospital.
3) FOUND! Explosions, Literal and Otherwise bystarjenni
BBC!verse, Sherlock/John (or pre-slash); Sally POV, Sherlock and John are chasing a criminal who runs into a warehouse, John follows. Before Sherlock can get there the building explodes. Sherlock's in a daze, Sally finds John.
4) FOUND! Doldrums and Deep Waters by Eyebrows2 (FF.net)
ACD(maybe? Victorian Era for sure), Holmes/Watson (maybe Gen?); Some villain is targeting Sherlock by poisoning (or something) his tobacco. But what they don't realize it that Holmes keeps his in the slipper. Thus Watson gets the effect. I'm sorry if it's vague, it's all I can recall from the story.

Date: 2012-01-15 04:46 am (UTC)There's this one. The Undiscovered Country, http://www.liquidfic.org/undiscovered.html which is not the fic you're looking for. It is, however, amazing, and someone tries to poison Holmes and get's Watson insteaad.
There is a poisoned tea fic, but that's not a poisoner, it's Holmes making a terrible mistake whilst doing research, and leaving the arsenic in a teacup. Watson comes home late from work.... and you can guess. If you want this one, I can look for it. I have it somewhere.
There is also, apparently, a poisoned tobacco fic. I have never read it, but I've heard about it.

Date: 2012-01-15 04:57 am (UTC)Regarding the poisoned tea, I would love to read it, sounds extremely wonderful (I love when Sherlock makes mistakes that endanger Watson. The angst is great.) However, I only ask if it doesn't cause you too much trouble to find.
As to the poisoned tobacco, maybe it wan't tobacco but my subconscious seems to think it was. I'm very certain the Slipper made an important appearance.
