book!verse casefic with trans character?

I've been searching for a particular book!verse fic the past few days which I think I read about two years ago?

There was a case including a MTF trans/crossdressing person. She was the client du jour, I believe, or at least she visited 221B during the story to talk to Holmes. I'm not sure if she visited as woman or man, maybe both on several occasions? Could have been working for a newspaper as a man? I also seem to remember that the characters of the case were inspired by the characters of A Study in Scarlet, but I might be wrong about that.

I'm pretty sure there was a Holms/Watson aspect too, but I'm not sure how prominent it was, if it was first time or established relationship or what.

ETA: Found, it's "Prelude to a Partnership" by Miss Roylott.



I generally love to read queer book/Granada!verse casefics, so any recs in that direction would be appreciated as well. :)
