Searching for a canon fic!

Hello to you all and Happy New Year!

I was wondering around, and saw a post of someone searching for a mute/blind Watson fic, when suddenly I remember one, canon verse, where Holmes and Watson are on a case with Lestrade and someone shots John in the throat. It's told from Lestrade POV, and there's glasses involved, that Holmes needs and hates but Watson says he looks lovely in them and another retirement scene where Lestrade goes  to visit and we know Watson didn't die but lost his voice almost entirely. (it's mentioned also that he had a beautiful voice)

If someone can point me towards it, I'll be really happy.

Hello there, hope I'm doing this right! The idea got stuck in my head, and now I’m very interested in stories where threats against Watson are used against Holmes. Just anything dealing with how much Watson means to Holmes and the villains using that to their advantage. Even fics with Watson being sick and Holmes scared would be welcome! I have a soft spot for the movie!verse and canon, but anything will do! I also really like Holmes/Watson, but gen is fine. :)

Anything along those lines would be great. Thank you in advanced.

Hey all!!! I just recently discovered and read all of the phenomenal bishopsbird's "One Side Will Make You Grow Taller" http://bishopsbird.livejournal.com/304.html LOVED it, and now I can't help but want for more anorexic!watson, so please please please people!!!! let me know if there are any others out there anorexic, bulimic, self-harm, or even just starving (for whatever reason) watson! And if, as the case may be, no more of these kinds of fic exist, for the love of god someone write one!!! :DDD
