Emotionally Hurt John Fics

Hi, I was wondering if there are any fics where, for example, Harry or his parents or someone close to John dies and he just struggles to deal with it. And its up to Sherlock to do something, or to help John deal with it? Just emotional angst. Preferably Sherlock/John but I don't mind if its gen, also would prefer BBC!verse but again I don't mind if its from another :)

Mary breaks up with John the night he proposes to her. Sherlock has to pick up the pieces.

I don't know the title... sorry. But there was a fic where John met Harry at a pub and she was off the drink but very depressed. She asked Sherlock to be the father of her baby but of course, he refused. Harry commits suicide and Sherlock helps John pick up the pieces. Sherlock goes with John and Clara to the country where they visit his parents for the funeral. John and Sherlock stay at a hotel.
