Searching for a bookverse fic

Hi all!

I'm hoping that you guys may be able to help me find a bookverse fic.

I have this gut feeling that it's set in HOUN. My only somewhat fuzzy memory of the fic is that Holmes has a stack of Watson's letters that get blown away in the wind. Holmes is desperate to grab them all, and Watson gets a hold of one that appears to be read over very carefully. Holmes admits that he read that one over and over again because he noticed that Watson paused at one point (and the ink had pooled there or something) and desperately wanted to know what Watson had really wanted to say. I think after that Watson confesses.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it! If not, I could always use bookverse Holmes/Watson recs. :) I'm particularly interested in alternate meeting fics, but will always take anything good. (And not especially well-known.)
