Weather in the UK is horrible and I need something cheer me up.

This may not sound cheerful but I am looking for a couple of sorts of stories. Does anyone know any fics about how Mycroft handles his brother's supposed demise (whether he is in on the thing  and knows about it or not)? Also, any good stories about John having a hard time handling it when Sherlock actually does get back? Suggestions please!

Don't have any suggestions right now but can totally commiserate about the weather! I'm up in Cambridge working for a week and it is COLD and WET and GREY. Yesterday someone said they saw something round and yellow in the sky but we are all convinced that she was hallucinating.

I'm in Lowestoft (not that far from you) and it's hideous here. Cold wind blowing off the North Sea. It's as if the weather has got stuck in January and won't change it's mind.

I *know*! I put in an order for a heat wave but someone clearly messed up. It is not fun biking into a freezing cold wind. Brrrrr!

Do you have a chance to go and look at the Botanic Garden? They have a small range of glasshouses with flowering plants actually doing things in them;

Not this trip, unfortunately. I'm spending most of my time in the Institute of Criminology working on some research papers with my co-author here. About all I've done outside of working is go to a Formal Hall on Tuesday and some bookstores on Saturday (very dangerous - don't even want to THINK about how much my suitcase will weigh!) Today's my last day; I go down to London tomorrow and Gatwick on Sun morning.
