Hello. I'm looking for anything in the BBC verse in which 1. Mycroft or Sherlock has an eating disorder or 2. has Sherlock and Mycroft having an abusive childhood, with Mycroft more or less raising Sherlock. As I don't know how many of these types of fics are out there, I'm alright with metas/theroies as well. The more explict it is the better.
Under the Coat (48896 words) by Loopy456 Rating: General Audiences Characters: Sherlock Holmes, John Watson (gen) Summary: John knows what eating disorders look like. The thing is, he’d found nothing. There was nothing, nada, zero, absolutely no evidence for any kind of eating disorder. No anorexia, no bulimia, nothing. It lulled him into a false sense of security. Sherlock always wears his coat, no matter what the weather or the season. Not that there's any particular reason for this, of course.
Eating Us Alive series by solrosan Rating: Teen Characters: Sherlock Holmes, John Watson (gen) Summary: Since the age of 14, Sherlock has struggled with an undiagnosed (and untreated) eating disorder. He has good periods and bad periods, but most of the time he manages. After a year of living together, John figures out the reason behind Sherlock’s strange eating habits and both of them struggle to understand and deal with this complicated relationship with food when it slowly starts to spiral out of control.
A Deep Pool of Water (http://sherlockbbc-fic.livejournal.com/3114.html?thread=9017642#t9017642) Short fic from the kink meme, Anorexic Sherlock.
There's also Starve (http://livia-carica.livejournal.com/543.html) Summary: Sherlock 's control extends to more than just his food intake. Warnings: Deals with eating disorders, manipulation and control.
