Reading material needed!!!

Hey guys I hope all of you had a splendid holiday and are celebrating our beloved Holmes birthday today, January 6 you know! The man is turning 160th old that’s quite the accomplishment. Anyway I'm currently going to be bedridden for the foreseeable week due to surgery and my mom's flu and I was hoping you guys can help me find some great reading material. I have a new laptop that I haven't bookmark things in yet so I would really like to start. Anyway I'm in the mood for the original canon with Holmes and Dr. Watson romance to be honest. I'm looking for some very specific stories that hopefully someone out there will know them.

Okay so the first one I'm looking for is basically about Dr. Watson being replaced by Mycroft because Mycroft believes that Dr. Watson is unsuitable companion for Holmes after he returns from his hiatus. The story begins with Dr. Watson about to move back into Baker St when Mycroft shows up and tells Watson that his presence and services to Holmes will no longer be required and that Holmes no longer wishes to be associated with him. At first Watson doesn't believe him and then Mycroft threaten him with revealing Watson's secret pass to Holmes if he doesn't leave London immediately. Mycroft then has Watson located to a remote town in England that is almost unknown on the map. The Watson gets involved in a murder spree and tries to help the constable and local town doctor to solve the mystery. The police force hate Watson and believe him to be stupid then Watson is kidnapped and framed for the murder of the entire population of the inn he was staying at. Meanwhile in London Holmes is delighted to have Watson moving back in with him before he receive the unpleasant visit of Watson's replacement provided by Mycroft. He then finds out that Watson is missing and Mycroft's betrayal to his friendship with Watson. Holmes looks everywhere for Watson without much luck, then he received a letter from the doctor of the town Watson is in requesting an explanation for Watson sudden appearance and he’s help with finding missing Watson. Holmes takes Lestrade with him to the mystery town and meet up with the town doctor who informs him of the situation. Watson after being kidnapped was heavily drug with exotic plants and tortured before Holmes recues him from a hidden green house. Mycroft comes to the town and Holmes is beyond angry and he isn’t the only one. The town doctor gives him an earful and Lestrade over hears everything including Watson’s past. Once Watson gets better they return to London to resolves the rest of their issues. I remember this story being either canon or at the very least 09vers. Please can someone help me find it please! I remember seeing it in Watsonwoes and in another place in LJ but for the life of me I can’t remember!

The next story is one where Holmes is a criminal who is injured and on the run from Scotland yard. He hides himself in Watson’s office and has Watson treat him. It instant attraction between the two where Watson can’t stop stinking about Holmes. I remember a scene where Holmes breaks Watson out of jail and takes him to the punch bowl where Watson watches Holmes fighting and gets aroused and Holmes notices it and makes a very naughty comment. I do remember it was a 09vers as well so that might hell too.

Anyway guys I would also really like if you guys can recommend any canon stories you might know of that are long and has a strong Holmes character. Anything would really do I will even accept 09vers too since I don’t want to be bored. You know what any version with a strong Holmes will do with Holmes/Watson pairing prefered! So please if you could help this fan it would totally be appreciated! Thanks guys!

Well, everything written by Kate_Lear is GOLD. Literally, it's breathtakingly characterised and beautiful. That account is mostly for canon stuff - she writes as Wordstrings for BBC Sherlock and that's equally amazing, if not more. And she's written LOADS.

I hope someone finds the specific fics - they sound great!

I think you're thinking of Katieforsythe, not Kate_lear. Katieforsythe writes BBC-verse as wordstrings. Her Seventeenth Step at http://liquidfic.org/katie.html is where her Canonfic is located.

Kate_Lear is another talented author who writes exclusively in the BBC-verse, as far as I know.

I'm not familiar with either of the fics youkodoll is looking for, but they do sound great. I'd love to read those too!

No problem! Yes I'm over 100% sure that it's not on fan fiction because I never read it there. I clearly remember reading it in individual LJ and in watson's woe. It's difficult finding it now because it gets mixed up with BBC Sherlock script scene phrase a better man. So it will take some time I guess I do hope someone stumbles on it and gives me a ring.
