Date: 2010-02-14 02:04 am (UTC)Things have been stewing in my head all day that I think I'm seeing double of everything! A different pair of eyes really helps.
I'll change that post haste.
Again, thanks!

Date: 2010-02-14 02:44 am (UTC)One question. How will the tags be monitored? ...
The SPN story finders community is really good and has a very good tag list. You could maybe check that out :P

Date: 2010-02-14 02:55 am (UTC)I'm the only one (besides any moderators that happen to join) that can add tags. Comm members can use existing tags.
I really love how
Please correct me if I didn't quite understand what you meant. I really would like this comm to be uber friendly so feedback is grand!
Thanks!

Date: 2010-02-14 03:35 am (UTC)Perhaps you should add something in the userinfo about checking the tags for similar searches to see if your query hasn't already been asked & answered before you post a new search?
Also, I think every post should have tags for pairing, characters, genre & type (i.e. fic/art/vid/etc) as a minimum requirement. As well as a tag for which verse the thing they are looking for is set in, if applicable.
Is it possible to create tags without actually attaching them to a post? If so, I would be happy to create a substantial tag list, if you wouldn't mind making me a co-mod?
Re: Tagging
Date: 2010-02-14 03:42 am (UTC)I've been working on the tagging, using
I was also thinking about adding a tag "found" plus adding something in guidelines about editing your post when the search is over. What do you think?
I'll add something about checking the tags.

Date: 2010-02-15 04:48 am (UTC)Some comms allow anything but I've seen a couple that only allow looking for a specific fic so I figured I'd check.
Great work on the comm anyway, I was hoping I'd find one for Holmes sooner or later.

Date: 2010-02-19 12:50 am (UTC)Why is every comment screened? That seems sort of counter-intuitive to me, to see if the request has already been answered.

Date: 2010-02-19 01:21 am (UTC)Are you having trouble with all of the posts?
I'll double-check the settings, but it looks like others have been replying to replies, er, if you know what I mean. Lol!
Thanks.

Date: 2010-04-03 06:01 am (UTC)I was wondering if you might consider adding http://community.livejournal.com/holmeskinkaward/ as an affiliate.
It hasn't gotten much activity yet, but I'm hoping it will, and it might be useful for people trying to find something they remember reading on the kink meme a million pages back.
Thanks.
