Hi all,
I'm looking for any fics where Sherlock is damaged/traumatized/hurt in some way resulting in Mycroft having to either assume adult guardianship over him, or him having to live with Mycroft. Basically, I'm looking for fics where Mycroft is an awesome big brother and has to look after adult Sherlock on an involved, permanent level. I'm also interested in any fics where Sherlock is traumatized or hurt somehow, and keeps asking for Mycroft, or Mycroft is the only person he'll let near him.
Similarly, any fics where Sherlock lives with Mycroft, for whatever reason, or vice versa, would be great.

Hey everyone!

To celebrate the (impending) end of finals week, I'm looking for fics in which John doesn't understand why Sherlock loves him, and needs to be convinced, because he thinks he's not at all special enough for Sherlock. Anything permutation on that is fine, given that it's Sherlock/John. No specs on length, rating etc. As long as it's John not understanding Sherlock's attraction, because he's not unattractive or anything, and he's fairly confident, but Sherlock is a miracle, and why him?

Yes, this was roughly inspired by "Entirely Covered in Your Invisible Name" by Wordstrings, which is a fic that makes me weak at the knees no matter how many times I've read it. :)

Hello guys!

I seem to have misplaced a fic in which the only thing I can remember is John putting things in Sherlock's hair.

I really don't know, it was an adorable scene, and I believe established J/S, and John is sliding pencils and pens into Sherlock's hair (where they stay suspended because of how curly his hair is) and when Sherlock finally notices John is giggling and Sherlock says something along the lines of "You find this amusing, do you?"

I don't remember *anything* else except this scene, and that the fic made me feel all cuddly inside. Hideously unspecific, I know, I'm sorry.

Still hoping someone knows what I'm on about.

I'm looking for fics where someone is feeling a bit starved for affection. Maybe Sherlock has convinced himself he's above all that and doesn't need it (but he does), maybe Lestrade has thrown himself into his work after his divorce and has been alone too long. Maybe Mycroft realizes it's pretty lonely at the top. My favorites are John, Sherlock, Mycroft and Lestrade in any combination thereof. Bring on the cuddles! BBC verse is preferred. Thanks!

BBC verse, John/Sherlock. John's last (only?) boyfriend was horrible and treated him badly, borderline domestic abuse, so he's not exactly enthusiastic about entering into a relationship with Sherlock because he thinks it'll be the same. I think the ex's name was Tom? Sherlock never finds out who he is (although of course he wants to, so he can exact revenge) and he sets about convincing John that it can be better. And it is.

The story is a classic and awesome and deliciously slow paced and gentle. I think I read it on AO3 before. Any clues are appreciated, thanks!

Hi everyone

I'm back a and just a big thank you to everyone who sent me recs lat time :D

I'm wondering if any of you can help me find any long fics (over say 9000 words) with Sherlock/John or Sherlock/Holmes. I love both BBC!Sherlock and the RJD version so recs from both would be brilliant. What I'd really love is long, plotty fics which show how *much* these two love each other. They can banter and moan at each other, that's who they are and I'm happy to have hurt/comfort and angst but I'd just like to read fics where they are also completely in love, where they trust each other to watch watch their backs, they trust each other with their hearts and bodies etc. I just wanna read long fics that make us all realise "yep I love this pairing" oh and including our usual suspects - Lestrade, Mrs Hudson, Mycroft etc would be awesome!

Also if any of the recs could have caring/protective!Watson/John I'd love you guys even more

Hi everyone

I'm a newbie here. I've fallen in love with the RDJ!movies and I'm also a big fan of the BBC!Sherlock series...soooo I'd love any suggestions from both versions.

I'm looking for any Holmes/Watson (or Sherlock/John) *slash* fics that deal with any of the following:

1) raped, abused or hurt Sherlock/Holmes. I really want to see someone manage to get under Sherlock's icy facade and break him. I'd prefer fics where he isn't magically 'cured' and also fics where he doesn't just brush it off as if it's nothing. Hurt/comfort from Watson/John please!

2) Sherlock/Holmes having had an abusive boyfriend before Watson/John. Bonus points if the ex boyfriend comes back into their lives and Sherlock/Holmes is all messed up about it

3) Anything featuring protective and/or BAMF!Watson (or John) since he has a background in the army, I'd love to see his dangerous side emerging - esp. if Sherlock is harmed *G* and BAMF!Mycroft as well is awesome!

4) Someone (preferably Moriarty, BLackwood or Moran) being obessesed with Sherlock and wanting him, and going to any lengths to get him. Super bonus points if Holmes/Watson (or Sherlock & John) are already together

5) Holmes/Watson or Sherlock/John being an open couple around people in general, just being all couple-y and domestic

6) vulnerable Holmes/Sherlock or virgin!scared!Holmes

7) Any mpreg!Holmes but *not* crack please!

I'd love any recs but I'd esp. love long and porny fics, and if they have their ensamble cast - Lestrade, Mycroft, Moriarty, Mrs Hudson etc I'll love you forever!! Also where possible I would prefer bottom!Holmes/Sherlock please.

I think this was a kinkmeme fic, but I can't find it on the del.ici.ous now. John has died and Sherlock takes to carrying a picture of him around to talk to. Lestrade is a little worried for Sherlock's sanity but Sherlock snaps at him that he's perfectly well aware that John is dead, the picture is just to help him think.

In the end it turns out that John was being held against his will and is alive (yay!) and there is a very sweet reunion scene. I think this story was gen but it may have been pre-slash.

I'm looking for a fic I read a while back that I'm sure was using the Sherlock BBC verse.

John was trying to get Sherlock to sleep. Sherlock was complaining that counting sheep never works because the sheep start moving around and a metronome is too regular. Fic ends up with Sherlock sleeping with his head on John's chest, as John's heartbeat is just perfect. (Not too regular, just varied enough.)

Does this fic sound familiar to anyone?

I read all three of these back before I realised how heavily I was getting into this fandom, before I started writing little reminders to myself, lol. All are based from the BBC production.

1: Sherlock is very noisy during sex and vocalises rather enthusiastically, embarrassing John no end.

2: Sherlock doesn't like to be touched, and John helps him overcome this a little at a time, with a little touching each day. Eventually Sherlock asks for a fistbump after they solve a particularly difficult case, and John is all "Did we just have sex in front of the DI?" ;-)

3: This one's REALLY vague, I'm sorry, but the scene I remember involves John taking Sherlock home from hospital in a cab and Sherlock gets cuddly. The cabbie seems uncomfortable with it. I think it may have been preslash or slashy gen but I'm unsure.
