Years ago, someone recced me J. A. Roberts' books about Sherlock Holmes, which were also supposed to be Holmes/Watson.
The books used to be on lulu (This used to be the old Lulu page), and in total they were four novels. Roberts still has an account on fanfiction.net with their H/W fics too, but I can't find their novels anywhere. Even if the books have been sold in paperback copies, it looks like they are nowhere on the internet.

Does anyone have some information? Do you have these books?
I hope this post is allowed here, technically these books are self published (amazing, from what have been recced to me) fics!

Hello all.

I am writing my thesis (film, lit, queer theory) and am in desperate need of an interview I read years and years ago (ok, probably less than five years ago) with the fandom favorite Katie Forsythe. I can't find this interview again! Can anyone point me to it? I would be so grateful.
(I did find another more recent interview in Why Fanfiction is Taking Over the World by Anne Jamison but that is not the one I'm looking for)

Also, do you know of a community online (LJ or somewhere else) with academic discussion on fandom and Sherlock Holmes?

Hi!

I am hoping you guys can help. I am looking for some Sherlock Holmes stories, which were all by the same author. I don't remember if they were Movie verse or ACD. I read them on Fanfiction.net, but I am hoping they are posted elsewhere as they are no longer on that website.

1. First stories title (I believe) has the words letter and Cumberland in it. Watson receives a letter from an old army buddy's widow, so he and Holmes goes to the funeral and as some point they go on a walk and Watson falls off of a waterfall and almost drowns. Holmes saves him and Watson becomes very sick. Lots of h/c ensues! Very well written story.

2. In the second story Watson has been kidnapped, beaten, and dumped at Baker st. as a message to Holmes, Watson is found by a homeless man who goes and gets Holmes. Eventually Watson is at the hospital while Holmes tries to find the men who hurt him and the homeless man keeps watch over Watson to protect him.

All her stories were gen, and very well written. I would love to read them again! Thank you!

I realize this is a long shot, but I might as well try. I'm desperately trying to find a fic titled "The Case of Erudition Toward Reliance", it's a canon/book-verse story that was very long and focuses on Dr. Watson caring for Sherlock and administering him enemas along with other possibly-squicky medical procedures.

Unfortunately, the only relic I can find of it's existance is this not so nice webpage http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/01/fan_fiction_friday_sherlock_holmes_and_watson_in_t.php but the snippets of the fic have me dying to read the whole thing, however I worry that it might have been removed, the link to the full fic on fanfiction.net is now broken.

I found this on google: http://merrily.dreamwidth.org/236308.html?thread=446740&style=site#cmt446740 of another person searching for it and it was mentioned that it might have been xposted to cox_and_co? If anyone knows any place this fic might still exist, or even the name of the author/if they have any other fics (I love how they write and would so like to read more) please let me know! Very recently, I came across the blog A small patch of mist (http://nolessremarkable.wordpress.com/) - the author seems to be called Alicia, and the stories are wonderfully well-written. It was last updated in 2008. A couple of longer stories are not finished, and I was wondering if anyone knows if the author has written anything more, or is planning on writing more? Thanks in advance for any info.
