Masquerade?

Some time ago I read a sherlock holmes fic which I think might've been called Masquerade, in which Holmes and Watson are invited to a masquarade ball and Watson puts a lot of effort in his disguise (even shaves off his mustache) and they dance in front of everyone. Then they run home and dance some more in their sitting room. :P

I really loved it, but I didn't save it and now I can't find it, so I was hoping maybe someone knows where it's hiding out.

Second post in a day, I have no shame. But this thing is bugging me. I guess I have two questions/requests, though they are related.

I read a fic once that mentions Holmes and Watson sleeping together on the night Holmes returns in the Hound of the Baskervilles (it is mentioned, but not the focus of the fic) Holmes also mentions they had some trouble convincing the Barrymoores that they needed a room in a seperate wing (i suspect Holmes had some brilliant fake detective-related reason instead of 'i want to shag my watson blind and you needn't hear the noise he'll make'). Sadly, I seem to have mislaid this fic, and lost all memory of the plot or actual focus of the story (what i mention above takes up about one paragraph).

Then my second request; this fic put the idea in my head of a H/W fic set during the Hound of the Baskervilles and left me with a rather serious craving. Does anyone know of any good fic that uses this premise?

Hello everyone!

Here's my little problem: the other day, I read a summary for a fic, where magic exists and, if I remember well, Watson is a healer and there was some joke about Irene, that she "doesn't matter". I think Holmes and Mary have power as well.
I don't know the genre, nor the pairings if they are, nor the rating, nor even the verse it's in =/

I couldn't read it because it was getting late and I went to bed... without bookmarking it (I thought I did!) Now, I don't even remember if it was on FF.net, on LJ or even on Sherlockkink. I can't find it in my historic. I'm growing rather desperate because I really, really, really want to read it. It seemed awesome.

Pretty please, tell me you know what I'm talking about and that I'm not crazy and imagined it.

Canon-based fic (with a preference for H/W)

I've just finished reading all of the novels, and I was curious about fic taking place during the events of any of the novels or spanning the novels, or even the stories. Holmes/Watson is preferred, although I would be interested to see anything about minor characters - any of Holmes' clients or the victims of the canon, or the Irregulars. I don't really care about genre, and any rating is fine. Recommendations for any good comms/sites as a starting point for good fic would be appreciated, as well. :)
