I've scoured livejournal, fanfiction.net, and archiveofourown.org but cannot for the life of me find a particular Holmes/Watson fic that began with a chase of a criminal into the sewers (or something similar) and Watson tried to hide the knife in his side from Holmes. Anyone have an idea as to where this fic could be hiding from me? <3

Hello everyone!

I've been searching for a fic for quite some time, but i'm afraid i cant tell you that much about it; I remember that war veterans are being attacked, and at some point Holmes and Watson are being chase and Watson is shot by this man. Before this, Watson  recognizes the gun to be a jezail weapon instantly from the sound of the first shot.I think they were near the river when the poor Doctor is wounded...Well, does it sound familiar to any of you ???

i hope somebody can help me find it; it was quite a great fic, i cant explain how is it that i lost it!
