I'm looking for stories where John gets fed up with Sherlock's bad treatment of him, with Sherlock constantly putting him down in front up people, questioning John's intelligence, never appreciating what he does, etc. and it results in a giant argument or fight. I know the fact that John can put up with whatever Sherlock dishes out is part of what some people find endearing about him, but sometimes I want John to REALLY tell him off. Like now!

Hey Everyone, I am looking for a specific evil mary fic. It is set post TRF in the Sherlock BBC verse (although I am not sure if it was written before or after TRF aired) Sherlock has come back to find John married to Mary, and he moved in with the two of them while he and Mycroft work on brining him the dead. Mary is emotionally abusive in the story and Sherlock is basically living in one room in the house trying desperately not to wreck JOhn's marriage. I think Mary eventually leaves and Sherlock helps John recover.

Any Ideas? I know it's not The Progress of Sherlock Holmes.

I can't remember a lot of details other than John is in some sort of danger, the type where I believe Mycroft has to have agents guarding him at one point -- and he maybe involved somehow in clearing Sherlock's name. Also I believe in this John contemplates and plans to commit suicide after everything had calmed down and has decided to do it away from Baker Street so Mrs Hudson won't find him dead but actually never has a chance to go through with it because Sherlock comes back. Anyone know what I am talking about?

Hi everyone,

Anyone remember a story in which for some reason, both Watson and Holmes think the other is dead after some ordeal. When each one gets back separately to Baker Street and they see each other, they just touch and kiss as if to reassure themselves that they are alive and well. This leads them to want to take their clothes off and sexy (but emotional) times ensue.

Like it says on the tin, from what I remember it was first-time, ACD verse and quite short.

I'm pretty sure this is a fairly short fic. What I remember very clearly is that post The Reichenbach Fall hiatus, Sherlock is waiting at 221b, playing his violin, I think, when John returns to the flat from getting groceries or whatever. John just acknowledges Sherlock and walks by him to the kitchen, and Sherlock hears a crash. He goes to the kitchen to find that John has fainted in the middle of making tea.

I know I've read this more than once, and I suspect I'm going to do an epic facepalm when (hopefully) someone tells me what this story is, but...I just can't recall it.

Hi all,
I'm looking for two different specific fics:
In one, Mycroft was kidnapped and trapped in the boot of a car-John and Sherlock find him, possibly because he manages to sneak a phone away from the kidnappers?
In the second, Mycroft and John are in some kind of hostage situation, Mycroft is shot in the leg, and, although he insists John leave him behind, John refuses and literally carries Mycroft to safety.
More generally, I'm looking for any fics where Mycroft is whumped/hurt/in peril and John helps him/acts as his doctor/comforts him, etc.
No mycroft/John slash please, although gen, Johnlock, and/or mystrade are all welcome.
I'm just looking for fics that show John and Mycroft acting in a genuinely caring manner towards each other : )

I'm looking for a fic where Sherlock comes home after his three years hunting down Moriarty's web, and John thinks he's a hallucination. John knocks him out, handcuffs him to a radiator or something and then attempts to shoot himself.

The fic ended there without a happy or sad ending, so you could kind of make up your own.

I distinctly remember Sherlock yelling so that Mycroft's people would hear him, while trying to talk John down.

I lost a story :( shocking I know. But the bad thing is I can't remember much anymore.

I don't know which holmes era it was, but not the modern times, it was RDJ's or something further back.

I know Holmes and Watson were on the run from...Mariarty I guess. I think Holmes wanted to go alone, but Watson wouldn't let him.
They were traveling sometime and and one point they ended up at the Reichenbach falls, they were both looking at it and then someone requested Watsons help at their hotel. So he left Holmes and hurried to the place, only to realise half way that it was a trick to get Holmes alone, so he run back, but the fight between Holmes and Moriarty had already happened.
He could only find tracks of a fight and soon found holmes a little down the waterfall on a stone slab or something.
..then recoverytime I guess :D but I don't really remember
I don't even know if it was slash, I doon't usually ship them, but it could have been.

shkinkmeme I was following a good story, writerboy's The Penance for A Dead Man's Sins. Unfortunately it's been deleted and when I contacted the writer he didn't have a full copy of it. Did anyone save it while it was still on the meme? I'm specifically looking for parts six through eight, the ones he didn't have. I know the original prompt requestor and it'd mean a lot to them if I got the whole thing.

I am in the mood for a little angst of a specific varity. I am looking for fics where John is in a romantic relationship with someone other than Sherlock. Here's the twist I am looking for, The relationship is bad. John is being eitehr physically or mentally abused. And here comes Sherlock to the resuce. The story can be ACDverse, RJDverse, Grenadaverse, or BBCverse. I don't care if John's relationship is with Mary, Moriarity, Moran, or someone else just that it is bad. The story can be set before they meet, after they meet, pre or post reichienbach. Sherlock can be a reluctant hero, and avid hero, whatever. Sherlock and John can then become romantically involved(my favorite) or just be really good friends.

I just finished http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5796884/1/All-Hope-Abandoned and I know I've read several other stories where Holmes hurts Watson. But now I'm looking for fics where it's the other way round, meaning Watson hurting Holmes, either deliberately or accidentally.

It can be slash or gen, mental anguish or bodily harm.

I do prefer happy endings but it's not a must.

Oh, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE no BBC!verse or 09movie!verse.

I don't remember much about this fic, but here it goes:
John is in the flat, and he keeps having reasons not to leave it. It's raining and there's a leak in the roof.
Sherlock comes in (I'm not sure if he was there from the beginning) and talks to John, giving him more reasons to stay in. Until eventually (here's where the spoilers come in) he tells John that he's been dead/in a coma this whole time, drowned in the pool scene, and that's why he can't leave the flat.
Then the water rushes in and John accepts death.
I'm not sure if it was John/Sherlock or a gen fic. Though I am pretty sure it was on AO3.

I'm looking for a Sherlock/John AU I read a while ago over on AO3-Sherlock and John were both in a war zone-it might have been set in world war II-when they met. Sherlock-I think he was a soldier-got left behind/left for dead, and John found him and saved him. I know that's a git vague-sorry.
Also, any stories where Sherlock is a soldier of any kind and/or meets John in Afghanistan or some other war zone would be wonderful.

1. Trying to relocate an ACD/verse fic of Baskerville in which Dr. Watson is held against his will out on the moors in a terrible cold place that also contains the large dog. Watson is injured and unable to escape. Holmes eventually finds him and leads him to safety. I believe the story is gen.

2. The second story might actually be part of my first request but I'm not certain. Again, Baskerville/verse, and Holmes is carrying Watson's letters in his pocket. He's read the pages so often that they are worn. Watson believes that Holmes isn't interested in his findings and upon later discovery of the pages in Holmes possession is curious. I believe there might be some angst between the pair in this adaption.

Any help with locating these would be appreciated. Baskerville adaptions (no matter which genre) are my favorite. Thanks.

I read this fic a while back and forgot to bookmark it but it's been eating at me--so for whatever reason, John's pissed at Sherlock and wants to punish him, so he ties him to a tree and leaves him there for a while (longer than he said he would).

When he comes back, Sherlock is frightened, yes--but for John. and he's trying to text John to see if he's okay because Sherlock doesn't believe John would ever go back on his word to him.

Cue angst, guilt, uncomfortable feelings, etc. don't remember if it was slash or pre-slash but finding this would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a fic I know I read on AO3 within the last month or so. It was John's POV while he was in a coma. It took him a long time to come out of it, and was fairly realistic about how much time it took for him to be able to do things like talk and sit up. I think it may have been Sherlock/John, but I'm not sure.
