Hi there!

This is my first time posting here, so I hope I'm doing things all right (if not, tell me please)!

I am looking for recommended gen fics that explore how Sherlock meets Mrs Hudson for the first time, and preferably also the causes for the trust of their relationship to grow on both sides (such as, how did it happen that Sherlock has grown so fond and protective over Mrs Hudson and vice versa?).

Johnlock is nice too, but I'd like to keep the focus on Mrs Hudson/Sherlock gen.

Hi. I'm looking for a fic in either Book!verse or Granada!Verse. I don't remember where I read it. This is what I remember: Mrs. Hudson put up some mistletoe for Christmas and the boys kiss under it. Then they find ways to keep meeting under it, and I think they even kiss when there is no mistletoe around. Sometimes the kisses are soft, other times hot. Eventually they get together and Mrs. Hudson approves with something along the lines of, "Why did you think I put it up in the first place?"

If anyone can help me it would be super! :D

I'm looking for a specific Sherlock fic which I read a while ago, and promptly lost : (
It was a oneshot where Mrs.Hudson was a ghost haunting Baker Street-she couldn't leave the building or something-and John didn't realize until Sherlock told him. I think there's a line about Mrs.Hudson having been her husband's last victim, and how she helped Sherlock avenger her death. Anyone ? Thanks : )

Hello everyone!

There was this wing!fic which I remembered last night, and can't seem to find now.

It was Sherlock BBC, and for some reason (possibly after the Pool Incident) John Watson could see wings. Everyone had then, just, not many people could see them. And he's utterly weirded out by it, because what? And obviously Sherlock notices something's up. He starts deducing but he can't quite pin point it, until John steps over something only he can see.

And then Sherlock deduces it, and doesn't think John's mad.

If I remember correctly, Mrs. Hudson could see them as well. And the colour of the wings reflected the persons' personality or something.

Please help me find it?

Hello all!
Been searching unsuccessfully for two fics for a bit now, both involving doggie!watson.

1) Watson was a dog turned into a human. I don't think it was by Sherlock, but maybe Mycroft gave him to him (?) I know it wasn't a werewolf fic, and Watson was worried about Holmes finding out. Think we heard Watson's mental process and it was really cute, sounded a bit like Doug from Up

2) Watson was a human turned into a dog. A smallish dog, with a limp, who showed up on Holmes' doorstep during a thunderstorm and he took him in. Meanwhile Holmes is getting frantic wondering why Watson hasn't returned from his trip to the countryside yet. It was a WIP, and the last update I remember is Lestrade bringing Holmes the case of people disappearing in the same town Watson was in.

If anyone can help me track these down that would be much appreciated! :)

The specific Mrs. Hudson fic that I'm looking for was set primarily pre season1 I think. If I remember correctly it involved Mycroft hiring Mrs Hudson as a live-in nurse of some sort to help Sherlock through his detox and was sort of an exploration of how Sherlock and Mrs. Hudson's relationship changed. I believe it ended with her comforting him after The Pool, but I'm afraid I can't remember.

I'd like it if someone could point me in the direction of this specific fic, but I'm also open to any recommendations for Mrs Hudson fics. I love her to pieces.

I just wanted to rec what is possibly the best Holmes AU on the planet. :-D
It's a Holmes/Watson slash fic and in a world loosely based on the sci-fi series Sentinel. It's not a crossover, but Holmes is a sentinel and Watson is a guide. The author used cannon and fannon from the show to expand on the way the sentinel/guide relationship works. It's still in victorian England and the author's dedication to detail is amazing. the story is well paced and LOOOOOOOOOOOOng so far.(WIP) The plot is intricate and pulls you in and in all honesty once you start reading it's hard to stop. But the story is plot heavy and a little wordy so you might have to take a breather in order to get the facts straight because even the smallest details that seem irrelevant come up later.There can be some confusion if you don't pay attention.

I'm rec-ing it because it is by far one of the most unique Holmes AUs that I have EVER come across. So please read and comment because as amazing this fic is, it has a small number of comments and the author doesn't realize how wonderful the fic really is.
So take a look. You won't regret it.

I have been searching and searching, but I just can't find these two fics.
The first was one where Watson got sick - not like, angsty-deathly-ill, but just sick, but he kind of lost any inhibitions of speech and just rattled off whatever came into his head. Including how gorgeous Holmes is. So Holmes just sort of takes advantage of being given insight into Watson's mind and makes sure Mrs Hudson doesn't come in too often. There was one particular incident which stays in my mind, of Holmes entering Watson's room and being greeted with something along the lines of "Why are your lips so damnably kissable?"

The second is an AU, where Watson is actually a modern patient at a psych ward or something, and Holmes is actually a figment of his schizophrenia. Mary Morstan is his doctor. He really believes he's a Victorian doctor who goes on adventures with his consulting detective friend. Holmes reveals himself as being the other half of Watson's schizophrenic mind, and gets very possessive when Miss Morstan tries to get Watson to realise that Holmes doesn't actually exist.
I know I've already posted here about this one, but I got no reply, and I've been searching without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just finished watching 'The Eligible Bachelor', and got the need for some Mrs. Hudson fics. Specifically ones where she'd taking care of Holmes. Preferably Granada or book-verse, but movie-verse is okay.
