Hi there, I'm looking for some recs, slash or gen, anyverse, any rate with Holmes and-or Watson dealing with an illness like asthma, diabetes, etc, just something that makes them vulnerable to each other, (I have a thing for respiration problems if you remember something including that I will love you forever). I would like also fics with sherlock being cruel or rude to John (on purpose or not) and anything that involves crying would be great. AND (sorry, yes I'm a pain, lol) on the kinky side of the fandom I would love to read some S/J loud!sex.  Thanks in advance!!!

Is BBC verse okay? If so, ivyblossom's amazing Helpless is a must-read. Sherlock is diagnosed with cancer and John supports him through it.

Let's see. Most of what I have is BBC. I'll note any exceptions.

Note - I'm listing all the various things I have tagged relating to illness, although they may not play up the vulnerability in quite the way you have in mind.

John, ill

Warning: tragic. Watson learns that he has tuberculosis after Holmes' 'death' at Reichenbach. He keeps a stiff upper lip about it. (This qualifies under respiration problems for your request, but it is not really a manageable illness in this 'verse.)

Warning: tragic. Sounds similar to the above if summarized, but in this case Watson keeps even more quiet about his illness.


Sherlock, ill

This one is unusual - it's an AU in which Sherlock's illness is vampirism. Being Sherlock, he gets distracted and doesn't take care of himself properly.
