Hi. I'm looking for a fic in either Book!verse or Granada!Verse. I don't remember where I read it. This is what I remember: Mrs. Hudson put up some mistletoe for Christmas and the boys kiss under it. Then they find ways to keep meeting under it, and I think they even kiss when there is no mistletoe around. Sometimes the kisses are soft, other times hot. Eventually they get together and Mrs. Hudson approves with something along the lines of, "Why did you think I put it up in the first place?"

If anyone can help me it would be super! :D

There was this short little fic I read once where the characters were in a regency era partu or something. Sherlock was distracted by Irene, until Mycroft told him that Lestrade might propose to fem!watson, and that she would probably accept because her running around with sherlock had ruined her reputation. Then Sherlock ran off looking for her.

Does anyone know this fic?

Okay, I know that christmas is over but I have had this nagging desire to read a certain fic for a few weeks that I have had no luck funding. As you can tell from the title it is one of the many fics that use the theme of the Twelve days of Christmas. It is a sherlock/John pre-slash to slash or early established relationship. It starts with John in early December trying to get Sherlock to eat and he notices that Sherlock Loves Pears - so John buys a bunch of Pears and places them around the flat to con Sherlock into eating when he is working. This develops into John doing the whole 12 days of christmas theme covertly -Sherlock doesn't know they are presents. The big thing I remember is that Mycroft finds it amusing/sweet and has his operatives capture photo evidnce of each of the events and gives a book of photos the boys to celebrate.

I read this over a year ago. Does this ring bells for anyone?

A friend of mine was rereading flawedamethyst's brilliant "Elephant in the Room" series, and that reminded me of another fic: Sherlock literally brings in a smallish statue of an elephant and starts leaving it in various places around the flat. Like, initially John stumbles over it in the hallway, and one day it shows up in the bath, etc.

In the end, it turns out Sherlock is trying to give John a wee bit of hint, and of course they end up together.

It's actually amazing how many fics out there refer to elephants or the phrase "the elephant in the room" in titles and chapters; Google is of no help to me.

I have a feeling this story is a bit older (probably 2011, possibly even 2010) and may even be by a pretty well-known author.

I would obviously appreciate your help in locating it! Thanks.

So it was done awhile ago, longish, in which Johnbo (or whatever his name in the fic is) sort of wakes up in Smauglock's clutches and there's some smutty play, but then the rest of the fic is mostly just them becoming friends and trying to trust each other. Anyway, at some point Johnbo hears the Shire's under attack by evil dragons, and he goes back to help fight. Smauglock is sad. Johnbo gets hurt, eventually Smauglock joins the fight, and then stuff happens. It ends happily (smuttily) and it was super cute. Any idea where I might find this beauty? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I'm afraid this is going to be pretty vague, but I read this fic a long time ago...it's a boarding school AU, with John as a new student, I believe. I don't remember a lot of detail, but I do know there's a scene where one of the boys gets beaten up by a bunch of bullies, and the other takes care of them in the bathroom. And there was kissing on a cliffside, I believe. That's all I can really remember; I know for sure it was on LJ, not sure if it ever made it to AO3. While I was reading it, it was a WiP, but I'm not sure if it was ever completed (that's why I'm looking for it!)

Of the BBC verse but of AU meeting. What I remember is that John is the 'bachelor' on a tv program and Sherlock is the only male contestant along with several women. After many 'dates' John must chose who will win...Sarah or Sherlock.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I've been looking for this fic on AO3 for almost two weeks now and I can't find it. It was originally Lestrade finding out Sherlock was married to John but the author added chapters after that and I can't remember the name or how I found it last time. If anyone knows this fic, I'd really appreciate it. I remember part of the first chapter has Sherlock dashing to the hospital where John was sent after getting shot in Afghanistan.

Hi All!!

I'm searching for three different non-specific tips of fics. But I was wondering if people could recommend me some well written Sherlock/John fics that were from Sherlock's POV (or at least half the story is from Sherlock's POV). I love fics like "A Road Less Traveled" by Verityburns and "Performance in a Leading Role" by Mad Lori (both of which have at least half the story in Sherlock POV.

1.) Pining!Sherlock....Maybe a story where Sherlock realizes that he is in Love with John or knows but is unsure how to approach John.

2.) Sherlock said/did something that really upsets John and has to "win him back" (could be just a misunderstanding or something Sherlock just didn't realize would upset John). Any fics with Sherlock pursuing John.

3.) And of course, any hurt!John fics that just have Sherlock being very worried but in a Sherlock kind of way...:)

Hey fab fans,

I've got one specific request and two generals if you can help me?

1. I remember a scene in a fic which I think may have been a BDSM AU Verse? In it John (sub) has done something wrong - I can't remember what - something fairly minor - probably puncjing Anderson or something and he's sentenced to minor corporal punishment (10 lashes or something) - oh maybe it was for the ASBO? I think it was Sherlock's fault. Anyway as his dom Sherlock has the right to take the punishment himself instead and does so to the shock of all concerned. I think it takes place in the MET. Does that sound at all familar?

2. Any fics involving emotional misunderstanding. Sherlock often comes off as almost naive when it comes to emotions so anything where he mistakens John's behaviour negatively. The usual - where he expects him to leave, can't trust him or fancies the pants off him and thinks John could never feel the same way.

3. Slashy romantic, long drawn out get together (johnlock) preferably multi-chaptered and with a good story line and not just smut though smut as a reward a the end is always love! Case fic ending in romantic revelations would definitely be great. And in general any less heard of fics as I've read so much in this genre.

In the story I am looking for Sherlock accompanies John to a wedding reception in his family (possibly Harry's Second?) and of course everyone assumes they are a couple. At the end of the evening John is trying to figure out what everyone sees when they look at him that makes them think they are a couple. Sherlock tells him, and this makes John realize that he loves Sherlock. Other things I think I remember is that it's post Reichenbach, and I think Sherlock and John have known each other 5-10 years in the story. I remember a drunken Aunt, with a cheating uncle at the reception.

I think I read it here on LiveJournal. Does anyone else recognize this one?

Okay everyone this is probably going to be a tough one. The fic I am looking for was set in the 19th century(possible early 20th). Here's the thing Sherlock and John are married, but becuase one of them has been raised as a women by their family. The one who has been raised as a woman doesn't know that he is not female until almost the end of the story. They had been raised as a virtual slave to the household(very cinderalle) until they were married to the other. However I can't remember who was made to believe they were a woman. I can't even remember which website I read it on, although it's likely that it was Archive of our own or fanfiction.net as I do most of my reading there. I can't remember if it was an AU of ACD Canon, One of the many movies, or the new BBC Sherlock

Does this ring bells with anyone? I would even take hintsof what someone else who read the story remembers that might help me get closer to the right direction to look for the story.

To celebrate the (impending) end of finals week, I'm looking for fics in which John doesn't understand why Sherlock loves him, and needs to be convinced, because he thinks he's not at all special enough for Sherlock. Anything permutation on that is fine, given that it's Sherlock/John. No specs on length, rating etc. As long as it's John not understanding Sherlock's attraction, because he's not unattractive or anything, and he's fairly confident, but Sherlock is a miracle, and why him?

Yes, this was roughly inspired by "Entirely Covered in Your Invisible Name" by Wordstrings, which is a fic that makes me weak at the knees no matter how many times I've read it. :)

So there are a lot of these, I know, where John and Sherlock meet at uni and strike up a friendship, yada yada yada. I'll try and be as specific as possible:

So they meet when Sherlock deduces that John's then-girlfriend is actually cheating on him with his supposed best friend. John gets mad, but Sherlock is stunned to realize that John isn't mad at him, but rather his friend--evidently Sherlock is used to the "kill the messenger" mentality--and John sort of intrigues him from there. I think John's friend later tries to beat Sherlock up, and John comes to his rescue, still all gruff and angry, but not with Sherlock. It gets sort of vague after that. I know it's a lot of Sherlock introspection about how he doesn't actually need John or want him around, even though he totally does. It was WIP last I saw it, and I have since forgotten what it was called. It was on ff.net, I believe. The last thing I remember was Sebastian Wilkes was being a wanker to Sherlock in the labs, trying to get him to go out with him and his buddies to humiliate people, and scoffed at him when he said he had plans with John. John got all possessive and bristly and stuff when he came to pick Sherlock up. That is literally all I remember. If anyone can find this, you'd be my hero forever.

I've looked through the archives and read everything that's vaguely matched my request, so I'm putting this out there in hope of snagging something I haven't yet seen.

I'm looking for fics in which John is more sexually experienced than Sherlock is, and shows him the ropes when they're in bed. Or on the couch. Or in an alley way. You get the idea. Not necessary that he tops, I'm good with anything. I'm also good with any kink you'd care for. I don't need virgin!Sherlock, just, John showing something he's never seen before, and blowing his mind. Feel free to include angst and shyness and any other theme except non-con, please.

Hello guys!

I seem to have misplaced a fic in which the only thing I can remember is John putting things in Sherlock's hair.

I really don't know, it was an adorable scene, and I believe established J/S, and John is sliding pencils and pens into Sherlock's hair (where they stay suspended because of how curly his hair is) and when Sherlock finally notices John is giggling and Sherlock says something along the lines of "You find this amusing, do you?"

I don't remember *anything* else except this scene, and that the fic made me feel all cuddly inside. Hideously unspecific, I know, I'm sorry.

Still hoping someone knows what I'm on about.
