Okay, so I posted this to Sherlock Search, but have had no luck. Trying my hand here:

I have tried all variations of google searches and I have looked through many, many tags in various communities but this fic is eluding me. Basically, Moriarty calls John and coerces him to have sex with/rape various people that John does not know over the course of a month or longer. If John does not, the consequences are the death of the person he refuses to assault - I believe the first person is a man who is reported to have "committed suicide" after John refuses. As far as I remember, the noncon is not explicit and the fic deals primarily with John's behavior as someone who has been sexually assaulted(I think Mycroft had to bring this to Sherlock's attention but I may be mistaken).

Other things of note: I remember that Moriarty would call either weekly or regular enough that it almost seemed like John was in cahoots with him, but, again, I think Mycroft (but maybe Sherlock) realizes that the behavior is more in line with abuse. I also seem to remember a discussion in the comments about the complex nature of John being a victim in the fic as he is typically the aggressor in what Moriarty makes him do (EG he has John assault other people at the risk of the other person's life).

This may have been a comment fic or on the kink meme. Please help because I am losing my mind trying to find it.

I'm looking for an ACD era fic that involves Watson's leg wound. Holmes realizes after watching Watson's limp that Watson wasn't just shot in the leg, but partially in the groin. Because of this, Watson finds it difficult to enjoy intimacy, and feels like he has nothing to offer a relationship. It's slash, but only just - it is definitely implied that Watson is primarily heterosexual but he allows Holmes to attempt to comfort him sexually. Could someone please locate this so I can stop driving myself crazy and start kicking myself for not realizing where it is? (I'm sure I will be.) Thanks so much. :D

I just read a retelling of The Adventures of the Dying Detective in the BBC 'verse and I was reminded of an old story taking place during the case. I remember very little but I'd love to read it again. It takes place in Victorian times and I'm pretty sure it's Holmes/Watson slash or at least pre-slash. I only remember part of it. Watson was very hurt that Holmes didn't trust him as a doctor and believed that everything Holmes had said was right, so he decided to leave. I'm not sure what happened to him then. Holmes notices something is wrong when Watson doesn't return. I think he went looking for him?

Does this seem familiar?

Im not really sure what 'verse these were set in but it HAD to be one of the older ones because both contained stuff like gas lights and carriages that really arent used in the new series so im gonna put this under verse:other since i have no idea what some of the universes in the tags are for.

Hope someone can help me find this. Read it years ago. It was bbc verse. Sherlock had deduced that john was attracted to him but was waiting for john to make the first move. John doesnt so sherlock eventually kisses him which goes well except when the kiss is over john denies being gay/attracted. I cant remeber how but Sherlock convinces john to try a relationship and agrees to go very slow. Sherlock eventually deduces that john had a previous homosexual relationzhip but it was abusive. John wont tell him who. Sherlock spends month carefully and lovingly helping john learn a real relationship and how homosexual sex should actually feel. Last seen has them in tbe park sitting next to each other holding hands after john had run away after cinally realizing just how abused he had been by the previous lover.

Any ideas?

I'm going to feel really stupid when this is found, because I'm pretty sure I read this recently. I'm looking for a relatively short fic that involves Holmes and Watson spending the night in a cabin, snowed in/caught in a blizzard. The trick is, the author wrote the same scenario from three different perspectives - book canon/Granada, RDJ verse, and Sherlock. All three were very well written, very in line with the tone of that particular fandom. No major detailsto speak of, although I know the RDJ bit included the 'old cock, mother hen' routine, and the Sherlock bit involved them needing to stop because Sherlock saw the cabin and stood up on the snowmobile, which resulted in him being hit on the head by a low hanging branch. Sound familiar?

So the fic that I'm searching for I read on AO3. It's an established Mystrade and in the first chapter Greg is home when there's a knock at the door and there are these two kids,a boy and a girl teenagers twins, and they are there to return Greg's suitcase. The girl sort of freaks out when they discover that Greg is a DI but the boy is ok with it. Mycroft gets home and I think Greg invites them to have dinner and they end up staying the night. Greg gets attached and so does Mycroft, they sort of keep an eye on the kids. The kids father is a drug leader who hits them and forces them to sell drugs. The girl always tries to defend her brother from their abusive father. At one point they run away after the father hits them and the girl defending her brother hits him with something and kills him. Greg and Mycroft send Sherlock and John to find them. I remember that they go to the kids school and Mycroft says that the boy had some disorder that Sherlock had. I remember more of the fic but have research on AO3 and google for the past 3 months or so and haven't been able to find anything, I'm hoping that someone in this community recognizes the fic. I do remember more of the fic but I don't want to give all the plot away, but if someone needs more detail to jog their memory I'm will to give it.

Hi, I'm new here, but I've been searching for these two stories all over the place, and I'm desperate.

The first one: I think it's on fanfiction.net but I could be wrong. I know it's set in the BBC verse, and Sherlock comes home to find John dead, supposedly of natural causes. Sherlock shuts down and Mycroft and Lestrade come and have to force Sherlock away from John's body. Afterwards, when Molly is about to do the autopsy, John starts breathing. It turns out that he was poisoned by Moriarty.

The second: It's set in ACD verse. Not sure of the website, but I think it's in Lestrade's POV. Basically Holmes tells Watson to go to a barn and free a girl while he and the officials take on the bad guys. It turns out Holmes is wrong and the thugs are actually in the barn and Watson walks in on them. When Holmes sees the kidnapped girl, he immediately runs out. When he gets there, Watson had been beaten badly and stabbed and they had hanged him to the rafters. I'm pretty sure he didn't die.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I'm out of my mind trying to find this fic; I read it between 6 months to a year ago, and I'm almost sure it's a oneshot. It starts with Sherlock confronting Mycroft about their father's death, as he'd been recently working on a case that made him realize that Mycroft had killed their father when they were children. Mycroft at first panics and tries to make excuses and use subterfuge, but in the end the truth comes out, that he was abused for years by his father, and that he only killed him, by poisoning his drink with pills of some sort, when the bastard started to move in on little Sherlock.

All of the story takes place in the flat, though there are plenty of flashbacks, and at first Sherlock doesn't want to believe Mycroft, but John is there to serve as mediator and make Sherlock realize the truth. The story ends with Sherlock starting to remember bits and pieces of their childhood which explains why Mycroft was always crying and distant, and the two of them hug it out on the couch.

I'm pretty sure I read it on FF.net and not AO3, but I could be wrong. Please help if you have any idea what I'm talking about. It was a very good fic and I'd love to read it again.

So, there's this canon fic in which Holmes is working on a Super Serious Business case. He's about to go out by himself to do Case Solving Things, and he tells Watson that under no circumstances should Watson leave Baker Street while he's gone, because it's vital to the case, etc. Then, right before he leaves, he grabs Watson in an epic bear hug for apparently no reason. Watson's like, omg what does this mean? Could my dreams be coming true? So anyway Holmes leaves, but soon afterwards a lady comes to 221B all terrified like " I need detective protection immediately! Dudes are stalking me!" And Watson's like I can't just give this lady the finger, so he writes a telegram to Lestrade so he can tell Holmes why he left, and then ollies out with this lady. She leads him to this big spooky house but ditches Watson once inside because guess what IT'S A TRAP! AND SHE WAS IN ON IT! And then Watson's ambushed by hooligans and knocked out and shit.

So long story short, the whole thing was part of Holmes's case; the hooligans were his targets, and the hug was Holmes planting some kind of ..... Thing on Watson that he needed to smuggle into the house. (Watson wakes up in a closet after being ambushed and Holmes is in there. He also wakes up while being cuddled because Holmes needed to take the thing he planted /off/ of Watson. Right, Holmes. Sure.) moral ofthe story is: Watson feels real bad not only because he's always the unwitting pawn in Holmes's schemes, but also because he thought the hugs and the cuddling and the intense looks preceding and proceeding said actions meant that Holmes actually cares for him in a way that doesn't have anything to do with being the admiring audience, secretary, wingman with a gun handy, etc.

So yeah. Long-ass explanation. I don't remember how the fic ended, and I'm dying to. So please. Help wanted.

So, I'd really love to read a story where Holmes and Watson have to work/interact whatever, with a third person and Holmes unusually takes a liking to them, or at least Watson thinks so and is hurt by how Holmes seems to disregard him. Maybe because the other person is better at deduction than Watson? or something like that. In the end, of course ;) Holmes makes it all up to Watson and shows him who his one and only friend is.

Basically, and story where Watson gets pushed in the background a bit by someone else. I'd prefer canon or Granada verse, but BBC verse is fine as well.

also, I love stories where Holmes is protective/supportive of Watson, so if you know any good ones, let me know :D all verses are appreciated, though as always, my first love is canon.

Hi all,
I'm looking for any fics where Sherlock is living on the streets and John is the one who finds him/cleans him up/rehabilitates him. I'd especially love post-Reichenbach fics where Sherlock has PTSD or some kind of mental problems and is living on the street.
Also, anyone know of any fics where nobody(not even Mycroft) knews Sherlock was alive for the entire Hiatus, and he comes back rather broken?
Or, he comes back rather more than broken in some way?
Post-Reichenbach where he's physically disabled in some way? That last one would make my year : )

Hi!

I am hoping you guys can help. I am looking for some Sherlock Holmes stories, which were all by the same author. I don't remember if they were Movie verse or ACD. I read them on Fanfiction.net, but I am hoping they are posted elsewhere as they are no longer on that website.

1. First stories title (I believe) has the words letter and Cumberland in it. Watson receives a letter from an old army buddy's widow, so he and Holmes goes to the funeral and as some point they go on a walk and Watson falls off of a waterfall and almost drowns. Holmes saves him and Watson becomes very sick. Lots of h/c ensues! Very well written story.

2. In the second story Watson has been kidnapped, beaten, and dumped at Baker st. as a message to Holmes, Watson is found by a homeless man who goes and gets Holmes. Eventually Watson is at the hospital while Holmes tries to find the men who hurt him and the homeless man keeps watch over Watson to protect him.

All her stories were gen, and very well written. I would love to read them again! Thank you!

Doesn't even have to be illness that Sherlock's faking, can be anything. Maybe he staged an abduction or an assault or a prior abuse. Just anything. Anything that's similar.

I have been driving myself crazy searching for a fic I read a while ago! It was set in the modern "BBC-Sherlock" universe post reichenbach and had at least ten chapters which were all pretty long. It was sort of a mix of hurt/comfort and Johnlock romance. A few chapters into the story Sherlock takes a fall and breaks both his wrists. This means that John needs to take care of him in a very intimate fashion during the healing, which is at first very awkward but ends up bringing them closer and admitting their feelings to eachother. Also, Sherlock shows John some awful scars he has on his back from an assult, and finally confides in him what painful things happened during the hiatus. I really loved the story and would be very happy if someone could tell me where to find it!

It was a long BBC Sherlock fic where, for some reason, John is back in Afghanistan with some American service men and a bomb dog I think and near the end their convey gets hit and John suffers some serve injuries and is shipped back where Sherlock tells him to rest but John shakes his head.

Any idea?

I’m looking for some fic recs that deal with the (direct) aftermath of the swimming pool face-off in 1x03. It doesn’t have to be canon compliant – so it doesn’t acknowledge the canon way it was resolved in 2x01. At the end of 1x03 it really could have still gone anyway and I would just love to read some fics which deal with that. Either it happened like in canon, but an author expounds on this shared and quite scary experience between Sherlock and John and doesn’t just ignore it like in the TV Series. Or these fics have their own take on what happened after 1x03 and expand upon that idea.

I just finished reading Light Our Own Fires (2010) by blackeyedgirl and absolutely loved her take on the aftermath and how she further worked it out. And that has given me an appetite for more stories using that setting / plot.
I don’t mind if it is gen or slash and any rating is good.
I enjoy all kinds of genres: angst, fluff, est. rel, getting together, friendship!fic, H/C, humor and so on.

Although I’m not a great fan of very overt BDSM or D/s stories. A little bit of spanking or binding or jokingly calling someone sir during sex-scenes are ok, but someone only getting off on pain (receiving or giving) and the other aspects of the BDSM scene kinda squick me. Also not the greatest fan of an actual Dom/sub relationship, I just can’t see the appeal . I respect it as a lifestyle-choice, but it just squicks me and thus I don’t want to read about it.

So, can anyone recommend long BBC Sherlock stories to me? Case fic is great, wonderful, cheer-worthy. Slash or friendship between John and Sherlock is lovely; I don't want them working against each other. No major character deaths, though the aftermath of the leap from St. Bart's is fine. I don't mind if one or more of them is involved with a woman (threesome stories are fine, too). I like D/s relationships, if there are any out there. Sherlock as asexual works. Any rating is good.

Looking for a fic that had BBC-verse Watson switching bodies with Ritchie-verse Watson. One or both of the Watsons had attempted suicide right when the switch occurred, so they thought they were dreaming/dead. It took place post-hiatus for Ritchie-verse, and I think during hiatus for BBC. Can't remember much else.

Also, I'm still desparately looking for this fic, any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I read this a while ago and I'm almost entirely certain it was an ACD canon fic. Watson accepts a summons to treat someone's illness and Holmes, disguised as a gardener, follows him. Holmes observes that Watson shows signs of a malaria relapse / enteric fever episode as he and Watson attempt to protect some young lady. Things come to a head. Watson (and secretly Holmes) save the day. Watson falls ill, Holmes sneaks in and cares for him.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
