So I recently read wordstrings Paradox Series, and it was wonderful. I am now looking for stories similar that have John and Sherlock completely entangled in each other to the point where it’s an obsession and borderline morally questionable the things they will do for each other. Even if it’s a little dark, that’s fine too. I’m desperate because this idea seems so cannon to me. I’ll take any verse though BBC is really growing on me.

Hi everyone

I'm back a and just a big thank you to everyone who sent me recs lat time :D

I'm wondering if any of you can help me find any long fics (over say 9000 words) with Sherlock/John or Sherlock/Holmes. I love both BBC!Sherlock and the RJD version so recs from both would be brilliant. What I'd really love is long, plotty fics which show how *much* these two love each other. They can banter and moan at each other, that's who they are and I'm happy to have hurt/comfort and angst but I'd just like to read fics where they are also completely in love, where they trust each other to watch watch their backs, they trust each other with their hearts and bodies etc. I just wanna read long fics that make us all realise "yep I love this pairing" oh and including our usual suspects - Lestrade, Mrs Hudson, Mycroft etc would be awesome!

Also if any of the recs could have caring/protective!Watson/John I'd love you guys even more

Hi everyone

I'm a newbie here. I've fallen in love with the RDJ!movies and I'm also a big fan of the BBC!Sherlock series...soooo I'd love any suggestions from both versions.

I'm looking for any Holmes/Watson (or Sherlock/John) *slash* fics that deal with any of the following:

1) raped, abused or hurt Sherlock/Holmes. I really want to see someone manage to get under Sherlock's icy facade and break him. I'd prefer fics where he isn't magically 'cured' and also fics where he doesn't just brush it off as if it's nothing. Hurt/comfort from Watson/John please!

2) Sherlock/Holmes having had an abusive boyfriend before Watson/John. Bonus points if the ex boyfriend comes back into their lives and Sherlock/Holmes is all messed up about it

3) Anything featuring protective and/or BAMF!Watson (or John) since he has a background in the army, I'd love to see his dangerous side emerging - esp. if Sherlock is harmed *G* and BAMF!Mycroft as well is awesome!

4) Someone (preferably Moriarty, BLackwood or Moran) being obessesed with Sherlock and wanting him, and going to any lengths to get him. Super bonus points if Holmes/Watson (or Sherlock & John) are already together

5) Holmes/Watson or Sherlock/John being an open couple around people in general, just being all couple-y and domestic

6) vulnerable Holmes/Sherlock or virgin!scared!Holmes

7) Any mpreg!Holmes but *not* crack please!

I'd love any recs but I'd esp. love long and porny fics, and if they have their ensamble cast - Lestrade, Mycroft, Moriarty, Mrs Hudson etc I'll love you forever!! Also where possible I would prefer bottom!Holmes/Sherlock please.

1. Are there any stories where John uses his military knowledge and helps Sherlock either solve a case, or find a piece of information that Sherlock over looks? Maybe he describes what caliber of bullet or the type of weapon used (after all he is a expert marksman and doctor) or he uses his training to kick some bad guys butt!

2. Are there any stories where John uses his medical knowledge to operate/keep someone alive because the ambulance is taking too long/there is no other doctor around (like on a case/at a crime scene) or something like that?

I've been searching for this fic on the Kink meme. Sebastion from the Blind Banker lures Sherlock back to his work office and attacks him. Please tell me someone knows were it is, before the delicious site went weird I could find it easily, but none of the tags there work anymore, or they've all changed!

Also, can anybody rec me some fics any!verse, where Holmes is drugged and Watson saves him before anything really bad happens, ie, Holmes gets beat a bit, but watson gets there before anything really awful happens, so I suppose sort of like attempted rape sort of things but he gets saved before the bad stuff happens. (I sound like an idiot)

Okay, so, I'm looking for both a specific BBC fic and any recs you might have.

The only thing that I really remember about this specific fic is John becoming fed up with Sally and Anderson's constant sniping and laying into them like the tiny bamf he is on Sherlock's behalf. Cue awkward gratitude and domestic schmoop. If any of you know what fic I'm talking about based on this ridiculously limited information, I'd be very grateful.

Okay, that said, searching for this fic has sort of activated my protective!Watson kink. Where's the good stuff you guys? It doesn't matter what flavor of protective, be it emotionally, physically, or saving Sherlock from himself, I'd like to see Watson protecting Holmes. Pretty please? Any verse will do, but I prefer BBC and canon.

1) Can anyone rec me some fics where John tells someone off for being creul to Sherlock.

ie. Donovan calling him Freak all the time; Anderson not listening to him, and being a general ass and not very helpful when Sherlock really needs him to be; Sebastion, from the Blind Banker, saying such mean and horrible things.

Basically just John (or Lestrade) calling someone out on their lack of respect for Sherlock.

2) Fics that show what it means to be a High Functioning Sociopath, and how Sherlock and John deal with this condition, it doesn't have to be slash, just things like... well remember in the first episode where Sherlock said "Not good?" after he had that rant about the womans dead daughter? Things like that, that show how much Sherlock comes to rely on John to smooth over the anger he leaves behind him with his blunt comments etc etc.

I just wanted to rec what is possibly the best Holmes AU on the planet. :-D
It's a Holmes/Watson slash fic and in a world loosely based on the sci-fi series Sentinel. It's not a crossover, but Holmes is a sentinel and Watson is a guide. The author used cannon and fannon from the show to expand on the way the sentinel/guide relationship works. It's still in victorian England and the author's dedication to detail is amazing. the story is well paced and LOOOOOOOOOOOOng so far.(WIP) The plot is intricate and pulls you in and in all honesty once you start reading it's hard to stop. But the story is plot heavy and a little wordy so you might have to take a breather in order to get the facts straight because even the smallest details that seem irrelevant come up later.There can be some confusion if you don't pay attention.

I'm rec-ing it because it is by far one of the most unique Holmes AUs that I have EVER come across. So please read and comment because as amazing this fic is, it has a small number of comments and the author doesn't realize how wonderful the fic really is.
So take a look. You won't regret it.

fourleggedfish 's fic Distractions, but it seems to be discontinued, so I'm looking for something similar - a longish fic where Holmes is raped and it deals with the aftermath, with lots of hurt/comfort and protective!Watson. If it ended in Holmes/Watson I would not complain at all.

I'm looking for 2 types of fics. Both in the BBC Sherlock world.

1. A lot of people call Sherlock a psychopath and he calls himself a sociopath. But what about John. What if under what he shows the world, John is the ones who is a psychopath? Are there any fics like this?

2. Protective!John fics. John gets tired of the insults and put downs people like Donovan and Anderson say to Sherlock, especially the name 'freak'. Are there fics where John just does off on them, telling them off, really ripping them apart verbally, etc?

I've been in super-saturation mode in the Holmes fandom since the new BBC Sherlock aired, and I desperately want to re-read this one story I can't find. Details what I remember:
- definitely not BBC 'verse
- for some reason, Holmes and the Yarders are tied up
- Watson offers to fight any/all comers in exchange for their freedom
- the overarching plot device was something to the effect that Watson doesn't know pub-fighting rules, but can only fight using war/combat rules.
- BAMF!Watson mows down all opposition.

Hello! I'm new to Holmes Finders and I'm looking for a stroy about Holmes having depression. I think Watson and Holmes were on a case and in the story Holmes is bipolar and has depression. They end up sharing a bed together, but the author said it wasn't slash, I'm pretty sure it was on fanfiction, but I can't be sure. Sorry for the vagueness. Suggestions, anyone?
