Sherlock and Mycroft came a few mins later. The boys get pretty close to the point that Sherlock has no problem sleeping with either. I remember a scene where they go on holiday and have to share a king size bed together. And that's all I'm going to say about that. Don't want to give away too many spoilers! Lol its a great story. When John arrived at the flat he found them comparing armpit odours and said "he drugged me again".

I was sure i found it on AO3 but no matter how much I refine the search it does not want to reveal itself to me. So I bring it before you lovelies! It goes as such:
It's totally AU, some fantasy, swords and sorcery kind of thing. Sherlock is a powerful mage and goes off exploring at his brother's behest in some outlying region that everyone has been too scared to set foot in. Pretty early on in his journey he is waylaid by a sand storm and reawakens in some underground warren-type house, which is of course owned by John, who is of course a (seemingly) non-magical healer, and of course has a habit of taking in strays. Sherlock is now the second he's collected. The first is Moriarty. Things get hazy from there, Jim is all up in Sherlock's pants, or wants to be, and they speak in a different language, like if Magic was a language and not just spells, and think John can't hear them. Eventually Sherlock falls for John and eventually Jim tries to murder a bunch of people and eventually John reveals he actually does know magic, is supes powerful, and also a bit of a Necromancer (but a nice one. I say this because at the end I'm pretty sure he reanimates a corpse that Jim just made corpse-ish and has it attack him.)
And then Mycroft and Mummy show up, and Sherlock and John bang, and I'm pretty sure everyone got an earful. That was the end. Really long, I know. So sorry. If anyone can find this you will be my best friend until the sun dies. Ta very much!

Sherlock was a professional violinist. John is either dating or married to Sarah, and she takes him to the concert. He becomes rather enamored of Sherlock, but when they go backstage, Sherlock deduces that Sarah is cheating on John and I think Sarah punches him? Then a few while later John is walking home and hears a violin being played and realizes it's Sherlock. He starts hanging out with him, and it ends up John/Sherlock.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm writing a BBC AU at the moment (it's about half way done), but I haven't had a lot to do with the BBC communities because I'm normally a canon girl. As a result, I really didn't know where else to look for a beta. If this isn't okay, just let me know and I'll figure something else out.
I love nothing better than getting a chapter back that's covered in comments and corrections, so you don't need to worry about bruising my ego. Also, I should warn that it's quite long. It's ~15 000 words already, and I'm currently writing the 7th chapter.
Please help!

Someone posted a link to a WIP on tumblr the other day, and I accidently closed my browser tab before finishing it, or bookmarking it.
John Watson has been invalided home and presented with a slave, Sherlock, as a thank you for his service. John isn't comfortable with having a slave, etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Everyone thinks John is dead, including Sherlock, but then he somehow hears John's voice in his head, and John leads him to a manhole or something where he's trapped with some other people. Sherlock has to hide that he's talking to John because everyone will think he's crazy.
Does that make sense? It's an itch I can't scratch, and I'd appreciate any help.

It's a pre-slash/slash fic of John & Sherlock (BBC), switch places with John & Sherlock (RDJ films). The story is told from the view point of the BBC group. Sherlock is loving the exploration, John really has trouble adapting (all the knowledge that he can't use). They have trouble getting back because the RDJ group likes the 20th Century and want to stay, but eventually they switch back.
The BBC pair is not together at the start of the story (I'm pretty sure I remember that right), but the RDJ pair IS together. *had that wrong. D'oh!

A few weeks ago, I read a fic, and I can't remember the name, it's driving me insane!!
It's essentially a fic where people switch roles:
So Lestrade returned from Afghanistan and is living on the street. One evening, when he's completely drunk again, he observes a murder. When the police show up, he tries to help, but they more or less ignore him.
Mycroft, who's a consulting detective, hires him as his assistant and asks him to move in. (Mycroft never leaves his appartment).
John is working as a police man and Sherlock is the British Government.
I hope that sounds familiar! I'm not sure anymore, if it was completed... but Lestrade killed the bad guy at the end.

I believe that after something happened to their parents--I don't remember what--they were sent to live with a relative (uncle maybe?). The relative was abusive and so the boys headed to the street were they found refuge in a restaurant.
